Bunny Bits
Hello and welcome
back again to the wonderful world of Killer Bunnies. On behalf
of Creative Team Alpha and Playroom Entertainment, we would like
to thank you for your purchase and assure you that no actual
bunnies were hurt in any way during the creation or production
of this game. The Quest for the Magic Carrot is the first of
three Killer Bunnies games and this is edition Epsilon One of
the Violet Bunny Bits.

Getting
Started
Unwrap all
of the cards. Large cards with the Violet Sinister Bunny on the
back are shuffled into your Draw Pile, which should already contain
Blue, Yellow and Red cards. Large cards with a Pink Timid Bunny
on the back are Carrots. Add the Carrots to the sixteen already
for sale at Kaballa's Market.
The small Cabbage,
Water, Carrot and Defense Cards are shuffled into their respective
piles. Did you notice that cool Clear 20-sided die? Some cards
(as well as some older cards) will require using the die. These
cards will have a capital letter T in the bottom square on the
right border.

Card
Specifics
Specialty
Bunnies:
These bunnies have no color or type. They are a kind of bunny.
A player may, of course, win the game with one of these bunnies
down. Specialty bunnies come as singles, pairs or groups. If
an opponent attacks and kills a Specialty Bunny then all bunnies
in the pair or group are lost and the card is discarded. When
counting for Roaming Run cards and weapons that affect bunnies
many spaces away, Specialty Bunny cards (single, pairs or groups)
count as one space. If a player has a pair and a single Specialty
Bunny well that totals 3 and the player may play two cards per
turn.
Ancient
Star Rod:
If the current date (day, month and year) is 3 odd numbers, then
the player may automatically redirect the weapon without having
to roll the dice. If the current date (day, month and year) is
3 even numbers, then the Ancient Star Rod may not be used at
all. Placing this card underneath the Holographic Bunny turns
it into a live bunny, capable of winning the game, but vulnerable
to any weapon or circumstance. This action may be performed after
the last Carrot has been purchased from Kaballa's Market but
before the Magic Carrot is revealed. As a live bunny, the Holographic
Bunny has no particular color or type and is not considered a
Specialty Bunny.
Bunnies
In Black:
This card may be used by a player to prevent any of his bunnies
from being abducted by the Beyea Aliens or their Mothership (Orange
Booster Deck) for the duration of the game or used once by a
player to retrieve bunnies already abducted.
Bunny Booster
& Random Paintball Assault:
These cards may transform any color bunny into a Red bunny. Bunnies
that become Red during play will inherit the 'special feature'
for that type of Red bunny. Bunny Booster and Random Paintball
Assault may not be played on Free Agent, Holographic or Specialty
bunnies.
Blown
Trojan:
This card may be used to cause The Trojan Bunny to explode immediately.
Blown Trojan may also be used to revive any one bunny from the
discard pile for every two bunnies that a player has down of
the same color. For example, a player with two Orange bunnies
down may revive any one bunny from the discard pile (and immediately
place it down next to his other bunnies). A player with three
Green bunnies down may not 'pair up' the middle one twice to
receive two bunnies. However, a player with four Blue bunnies
down (or two pair of the same color bunnies down) may receive
two bunnies from the discard pile. Does that make sense to you?
Hopefully you get the idea. A player may revive any bunny from
the discard pile (including Free Agent, Holographic and Specialty
bunnies) regardless of the color of the matching pair.
Cool Change: When played, this
card allows a player to exchange some or all of his cards for
cards from the Draw Pile. These may include the Bottom and Top
Run cards.
LA Hot Peppers: The LA stands for
Louisiana.
Am
I Missing Something?
If after reading
through the Violet Bunny Bits and playing the cards in your Killer
Bunnies Violet Booster Deck you are asking yourself this question,
then chances are you're absolutely right!
Many cards
in Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot refer to
other cards that have not been printed yet. But don't worry.
All this means is that we have planned ahead. Creative Team Alpha
would like to guarantee to you that these 'unseen' cards will
indeed be seen in future Booster Decks. The same is true for
some of the fancy dice as well.

And
So Goes The Story...
Hey there folks.
Well the third Killer Bunnies Booster Deck is out and this time
we chose the color Violet. (Hmmm...sounds like Violent!) Creative
Team Alpha must admit that we have been more than surprised (although
quite pleasantly) at the overwhelming support we have received
from our fan base. So many many thanks go to all of you out there
that have been supporting Killer Bunnies products. Keep those
letters and suggestions coming! My gaming philosophy is very
simple; win well, lose well. Of course laughing, smiling and
having fun are great too! Thanks again for being part of our
family and letting us be part of yours. Take care.

Questions
As we mentioned
earlier, questions always seem to arise that cannot be resolved
by a careful inspection of the instruction book. If that should
happen then please feel free to write
to us.
We'll help
you to clear up any discrepancies that you are having. Our staff
is on call 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Realistically
it's more like 8 hours a day and 5 days a week but it sounded
so cool to say it the other way. Ok bottom line: we answer all
of our e-mails!
Disclaimer
All characters
and events in this game - even those based on real people or
characters as parody - are entirely fictional. Any resemblance
to actual living persons is purely coincidental or is strictly
for the purpose of satire. No actual bunnies were harmed in the
making of this game or will be harmed by playing it.
In the great
tradition of the United States military, all players in the game
are referred to in the male gender. We are in no way negating
or ignoring the vital importance of women in gaming and frankly,
in our lives as both the mothers who bore us and the wives that
support us. Absolutely no offense is meant or should be implied
on any level of our menial XY existence, it was simply easier
to compose the rules using only one gender reference. So please
ladies, don't get angry or hit us
Refer
to the Card Chart to see the order of card expansion.
The
Blue Starter Deck is first (#01), followed by the Yellow Booster
Deck (#02), the Red Booster Deck (#03), and then the Violet Booster
Deck (#04).
